2005 marked a full 26 years of my continuing full time service in the real estate profession serving primarily close-in suburban Maryland and upper Northwest Washington D.C.  I am an Associate Broker and consistently rank among the top 1% of all Realtors nationwide and within the top 100 of the 16,000 agents within Long & Foster, a lifetime member of both the President’s Club and the GCAAR Million Dollar Club and I was recently inducted into the Long & Foster Founder’s Club, the highest order of recognition within the agency.  In 2003, 2004 and 2005 I was the Top Producing Individual Agent in my Bethesda Gateway office, known for its landmark billion-dollar-plus production in 2002, 2003, 2004 and 2005.

I pride myself on my collegial and professional relationships within the real estate community and use my experience to successfully engineer mutually beneficial transactions.  On the civic side, I have been appointed to the Regulations and Enforcement Committee by the Mayor of the Town of Chevy Chase, a committee charged with adapting, revising and rewriting the codes, regulations and ordinances having to do with the building and development process in the Town.

My background in construction and development has enriched my real estate career with a skill set somewhat unique to the local industry;

Extensive “hands-on” experience with land and lot sales
Extensive working knowledge with Washington D.C. and Montgomery County zoning regulations, requirements,             policies and procedures
Knowledge of processes and procedure for subdivision, resubdivision and development
Familiarity with governing agencies and ongoing relationships with key administrators
Extensive network of local builders and developers, many of whom are current and previous clients
Familiarity with contract forms and procedures to take raw land or finished lots through negotiations, closing and            development
Broad, up to date knowledge of local “infill” markets and conditions
Ability to work discretely, with or without public exposure of property or principals

I am especially active in new “infill” home market in Washington D.C. and Montgomery County, that is discovering new home opportunities in established neighborhoods.  In urban environments, I have consulted on and marketed numerous rehabilitation, renovation and re-use projects through the NW quadrant.  Builders, appraisers, Realtors and buyers consider me a resource of information in this sub-market of metropolitan real estate.  In the past 12 months I have represented the seller or buyer on the following infill projects:

Condominium assembly acquisition, including adaptive re-use of existing structure, Dupont Circle, D.C.
Single family lot sale (teardown), Glenwood subdivision, Bethesda, MD and subsequent new home sale
Single family lot sale (teardown), Ashburton neighborhood, Bethesda, MD and subsequent new home sale

Downtown Silver Spring mixed use development parcel acquisition and subsequent planned 150,000 square foot            nine story mixed use condominium.

Four lot infill subdivision sale, Woodside neighborhood, Silver Spring, MD

Four speculative substantial renovations/additions in Bethesda and Chevy Chase (reclaimed teardowns), all due             to market in September, 2005.
